The Earth Was Created for Heavenly Father's Children
Scripture
"We will make an earth whereon these may dwell: and we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them." - Abraham 3:24-25
Jesus Christ created the earth under the direction of Heavenly Father. He created the earth so that we could gain a body, learn and grow. Look around you and be thankful for all of the beauty in the world around us.
Note to Parents
Parents when your child is assigned a talk or a scripture this is a great opportunity for them to practice bearing their testimonies. Remember the talks should be written around the months theme and the scripture can be whatever they are learning at home or it can just be their favorite.
Also if you have a child in scouts or activity days please check out the tabs above for announcements concerning those. We are doing our best at keeping them updated.
Chorister's Corner
In February, we will be learning both verses of "My Heavenly Father Loves Me" and we will be reviewing "For the Beauty of the Earth" (verse 1)
An easy way to help children learn the songs is to keep the CD in the car and sing the song of the month on your way to school or when you are running errands. Singing - or even listening to - the songs once a day is an easy way to help your children remember the words.
