Jesus Christ is our Savior

Scripture

"Hearken ye to these words. Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world" - D&C 43:34

When we make wrong choices, it takes us spiritually away from our Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father provided a way for us to return to him again. He sent his son, Jesus Christ. Jesus suffered for our sins, so that we could repent and return to our Heavenly Father. The Savior did something for us that we could not do for ourselves because he loves us.

Chorister's Corner

This month we will be learning the song "If the Savior Stood Beside Me"

Keep practicing the songs we have already learned:
"I Am a Child of God"
"My Heavenly Father Loves Me"
"For the Beauty of the Earth"
(You can click on the song and it will link back to the church website so you can listen too it or print it out and play it yourself)

Note to Parents

Parents when your child is assigned a talk or a scripture this is a great opportunity for them to practice bearing their testimonies. Remember the talks should be written around the months theme and the scripture can be whatever they are learning at home or it can just be their favorite.

Also if you have a child in scouts or activity days please check out the tabs above for announcements concerning those. We are doing our best at keeping them updated.

Don't forget Easter is March 31st this year.
